Alok brings over 25 years of international experience in leading and delivering large-scale transportation projects across Asia. He is a seasoned expert in transportation planning, public transport strategy, smart mobility, and the integration of new technologies to improve transport efficiency and sustainability.

Alok has been instrumental in the design and planning of major infrastructure developments throughout the South Asian region. His expertise spans multimodal planning, mass transit systems, and policy-level advisory for urban mobility solutions.

He currently serves as the Director of Trans-consult Asia, a consultancy specialising in advisory services for urban mobility, including smart mobility, data analytics, IoT applications, and clean fuel technologies, with a strong focus on public transport innovation. In parallel, Alok provides strategic technical support to Trublu Consulting in an advisory capacity.

He has previously held senior management positions with leading organisations such as Kowloon Motor Bus Company, MVA Consultancy, and MTR Corporation.

A recognised thought leader in the transport sector, Alok is a regular public speaker, a certified UITP trainer, and a Fellow of Civic Exchange, a public policy think tank based in Hong Kong.
